Sara Tonelli will be part of the organizing committee of the workshop "From Digitization to Knowledge: Resources and Methods for Semantic Processing of Digital Works/Texts". The workshop will be co-located with the Digital Humanities conference 2016.
EDUCA is an educational festival made of three days of seminars, workshops, shows dedicated to children and teenagers, parents, teachers, educators. The main topic of this year is "Passages": how can technological, social, cultural and professional changes become opportunities and not constraints and limitations?
In collaboration with IPRASE, we have organized a training course for teachers entitled: Digital [loves] Humanities - Umanistica Digitale: teoria e strumenti per l’insegnamento. The course will include seminars and laboratories.
The museums of Bolzano will remain open from 4 pm until 1 am during the "Long night of the Museums".
SemEval-2014 workshop will be held in conjunction with the COLING 2014 conference.
A session will be devoted to Task 1"Evaluation of compositional distributional semantic models on full sentences through semantic relatedness and textual entailment" organized by DH-FBK (Stefano Menini), HLT-FBK (Luisa Bentivogli) and UNITN (Marco Marelli, Marco Baroni, Raffaella Bernardi, and Roberto Zamparelli).
During the roundtable "Distant Reading, Digital Humanities, and Italian Studies" at the 2015 Conference of the American Association of Italian Studies, Selena Daly (Dept. of French and Italian, University of California, Santa Barbara) will present a joint work carried out with Giovanni Moretti and Rachele Sprugnoli: "A Distant Reading of F.T. Marinetti’s Writings (1909-1918)".
The conference will be held at the University of Colorado Boulder.
The 6th evaluation campaign EVALITA 2018 will be held in Turin, as a co-located event of the 5th Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics - CLiC-it 2018 (December 10-12, 2018).
EVALITA 2018 is an initiative of AILC (Associazione Italiana di Linguistica Computazionale).
