Stefano Menini will participate to the CLARIN-PLUS Workshop "Working with Parliamentary Records". The workshop aims to discover the ways in which NLP technology would help for curating parliament records and for answering research questions in the field of Digital Humanities. Various perspectives will be taken into account: in particular, perspective of curators, researchers and developers.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the international journal "Quality & Quantity", a congress wil be held in Bologna on 17-18th November 2017. Rachele Sprugnoli and Giovanni Moretti will participate in the congress with the following talk.

The workshop "TAL e Beni Culturali" (NLP and Cultural Heritage) promotes cooperation and synergies between humanities studies and state-of-the-art technologies in Natural Language Processing. The workshop is organized by Fondazione Ugo Bordoni, a cultural and research institution led by the Ministry of Economic Development.

As part of the activities of Digital Humanities group in FBK, we are organizing a one-day workshop on "Digital Humanities: Current state and Future challenges". The event will include invited talks from prominent scholars and experts from the Digital Humanities area, especially those active at the intersection between humanities and human language technologies. We would like to know more about past successful experiences and ongoing projects all over Europe.
