The 6th evaluation campaign EVALITA 2018 will be held in Turin, as a co-located event of the 5th Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics - CLiC-it 2018 (December 10-12, 2018).
EVALITA 2018 is an initiative of AILC (Associazione Italiana di Linguistica Computazionale).

During the roundtable "Distant Reading, Digital Humanities, and Italian Studies" at the 2015 Conference of the American Association of Italian Studies, Selena Daly (Dept. of French and Italian, University of California, Santa Barbara) will present a joint work carried out with Giovanni Moretti and Rachele Sprugnoli: "A Distant Reading of F.T. Marinetti’s Writings (1909-1918)".
The conference will be held at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Title: Researching the acquistion, processing and use of multi-word expressions in a first and second language.
Rachele Sprugnoli is in the Program Committee of the 1st Workshop on Temporal Dynamics in Digital Libraries (TDDL). The workshop will be held in conjunction with the "21st International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries" (TPDL2017) on September 21 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The fifth edition of CLiC-it will be held in Turin, on 10-12 December, 2018. The conference will be followed by EVALITA 2018 (http://www.evalita.it/2018), the 6th evaluation campaign of Natural Language Processing and speech tools for the Italian language. CLiC-it and EVALITA are organised by the Italian Association of Computational Linguistics (AILC -- www.ai-lc.it).
