Rachele Sprugnoli is part of the program committee of the workshop "Corpora in the Digital Humanities (CDH)". The workshop will be a co-located event of the 15th Workshop on Treebank and Linguistic Theories, which will take place in January 2017 at Indiana University, Bloomington (USA).

The CLARIN Annual Conference is the main annual event for those working on the construction and operation of CLARIN across Europe, as well as for representatives of the communities of use in the humanities, and social sciences.

We will present our long paper "Sentiment Analysis for the Humanities: the Case of Historical Texts" by Alessandro Marchetti, Sara Tonelli and Rachele Sprugnoli during the DH2014 conference in Lausanne.
Our presentation is scheduled on Friday, 11 in Room 413 at Amphimax building.
The second edition of the summer school "Digital Tools for Humanists" will be held in Pisa, from 25 to 29 June 2018. This initiative is organized in the frame of the summer schools organized by the University of Pisa, under the direction of the “Laboratorio di Cultura Digitale”.
In this context, Rachele Sprugnoli will give two lectures: on
Sara Tonelli will give a 3-hour lecture in the framework of the OASI Master's School (Oltre Advanced School of Innovation) at the Dept. of Engineering, University of Calabria. The talk will be about the challenges of Digital Humanities, especially in the context of historical archives and digital cultural heritage.
For the second year, our group will participate to the Trentino Young Scientist Challenge initiative with a series of laboratories in secondary schools in Trentino.
The first laboratory will be held on Thursday 2 March at Levico Terme.
