Rachele Sprugnoli has been awarded a grant to attend the CENDARI Summer School in Historical Sources & Transnational Approaches to European History.
The DH unit has organized a reading group on different topics related to Natural Language Processing and Digital Humanities. The meetings are open to anyone, especially to students.
In the first meeting we will deal with multiword expressions, and we will discuss the paper 'Collocations and statistical analysis of n-grams' by Gunn Inger and Gisle Andersen.
The Associazione per l'Informatica Umanistica e le Culture Digitali (AIUCD) is pleased to announce the 2018 edition of its annual conference.
The AIUCD 2018 Conference will be held from 31st January to 2nd February 2018 in Bari, Italy, and the local organiser is the University of Bari. Pre-conference workshops will be held on 30th January. In this context, we will present an automated analysis of the outcome of the online survey about the school system organized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research.
The outcome of the project "Epistolario De Gasperi", led by Fondazione Trentina Alcide De Gasperi, will be presented at Archivio del Quirinale in the presence of the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella.
Sara Tonelli è stata invitata a partecipare alla Giornata di Studio in memoria di Andrea Paoloni su "Tecnologie vocali e del linguaggio naturale per i beni culturali" organizzata da ForumTAL, dall'Associazione Italiana di Scienze della Voce e dal Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici della Università di Roma TRE. Il titolo del suo intervento sarà "Riflessioni sulle Digital Humanities in Italia".
