The Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics, CLiC-it, aims at establishing a reference forum for the Italian community of researchers working in the fields of Computational Linguistics (CL) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). CLiC-it promotes and disseminates high-level, original research on all aspects of automatic language processing, both written and spoken, and targets state-of-the-art theoretical results, experimental methodologies, technologies, as well as application perspectives, which may contribute to the advancement of the CL and NLP fields.

In the context of the "Digital Culture Laboratory", Rachele Sprugnoli will hold the seminar "Spatial Humanities ed uso delle tecnologie del linguaggio per lo studio di luoghi e spostamenti" on the intersection between NLP and spatial humanities.
LIGHTS [LInguaggio, parità di Genere e parole d’odio / Language gender and HaTe Speech] will bring together international experts in the areas of formal and computational Linguistics, Psychology, Pedagogy, Sociology, Legal and Political Studies to discuss inclusive communication practices, verbal and linguistic equity and fairness, verbal violence in an intersectional approach considering gender and gender-identity in a comparative cross-linguistic and cross-cultural approach.
The CLARIN Annual Conference is the main annual event for those working on the construction and operation of CLARIN across Europe, as well as for representatives of the communities of use in the humanities, and social sciences.
