In summer, we usually host high-school interns in the framework of the FBK-Junior program.
This year the DH group will collaborate with 4 students from Trentino high-schools, with the goal of automatic extracting persons’ networks from texts. Their projects will be related to the recognition of biographical information in Wikipedia, the evaluation of coreference resolution systems and the annotation of opinions in political speeches.
The students currently hosted at FBK helped us also to evaluate the ALCIDE system.
