In the context of the EVENTI (EValuation of Events aNd Temporal Information) evaluation exercise that took place within the EVALITA campaign in 2014, the following datasets have been released:

  • EVENTI Task @ EVALITA 2014 Training Set Part1 (EVENTI – ILC): First part of the training set of the EVENTI exercise organized within the EVALITA 2014 evaluation campaign. This release contains contemporary news annotated with temporal information and has been developed at Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale “A. Zampolli” (ILC) – CNR in Pisa and TrentoRISE in Trento.

  • EVENTI Task @ EVALITA 2014 Training Set Part2 (EVENTI-FBK): Second part of the training set of the EVENTI exercise organized within the EVALITA 2014 evaluation campaign. This release contains contemporary news annotated with temporal information and has been developed at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento.

  • EVENTI Task @ EVALITA 2014 Test-Gold MAIN: Test set and gold annotation of the main task of the EVENTI exercise organized within the EVALITA 2014 evaluation campaign. This release contains contemporary news annotated with temporal information and has been developed by Istituto di Linguistica Computazione – ILC, Pisa, TrentoRise, Trento and Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento.

  • EVENTI Task @ EVALITA 2014 Test-Gold PILOT: Test set and gold annotation of the pilot task of the EVENTI exercise organized within the EVALITA 2014 evaluation campaign. This release contains historical news on the outbreak of WWI annotated with temporal information and has been developed by Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento.
